Henty Farm with release number two from the dynamic duo of Adam Wadewitz and Jono Mogg. Some details on their previous 2010 releases were explored here on WineFront and Jono informs me that with Wadewitz’s commitments now in South Australia (and Tasmania) he will be the guiding force behind Henty Farm ongoing.

Let’s go a little freeform here. Adam Wadewitz, winemaker Best’s Wines in Great Western, co-dux of 2009 Len Evan’s Tutorial and highly regarded wine judge. Great winemaker above all actually. Thoughtful, erudite beyond years, detailed, but with sense of fun, youthfulness and yet gravitas at his inheritance of the Thomson and Best’s legacy of ancient vineyards and perpetuity.
Two experienced players from Best’s Great Western have branched out with a project of their own, exploring the potential for distinct pinot from Henty, south-west Victoria.
